Will Global AI Regulation Happen?

I was recently interviewed as a legal expert as part of a study conducted at Technical University of Munich (TUM) about the legal challenges and regulatory frameworks for the use of AI in EdTech (Education Tech).

This is an excerpt from this Interview where I was asked whether I see global AI regulation on the horizon.

My honest answer is that although there are ongoing initiatives, but I do not see global AI regulation happening because of conflicting interests.
